More detail to come.

Morning Prayer returns to CHS –  We will observe Lenten shifts during Morning Prayer. Don’t miss the opportunity to add Morning Prayer to your Spiritual discipline as we journey together through these 40 days. This liturgy is held every Thursday morning at 8:30 am in the side chapel.

Fridays in Lent – The Church of the Holy Spirit will offer opportunities for devotion, food, fellowship, and reflection. Beginning on Friday, February 15, the first Friday of Lent, the Stations of the Cross devotion will be offered in church at 5:30 pm, led by a number of clergy and lay worship leaders. After Stations, a simple soup and bread supper will be offered in the parish hall at 6 pm. Signup sheets for hosting this supper will be posted in the reception room. At 6:30 pm, we will offer Jesus at the Movies, watching a thought provoking movie together. As before on Lenten Fridays, people may participate in whatever portion of these that they desire.

Healing Prayers – Healing prayers will be offered on the fourth Sunday following the 10:00 am service. Fathers Herb Skelly and Bill Heuss will officiate with assistance from the Health Ministry.

Men’s Study Group Invites New Members – The Men’s Study Group meets each Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the craft room at the far end of the Sunday School area. We are just finishing a series of Old Testament lectures and will begin on February 26 a series on the New Testament. We welcome more men to the study, which includes a half-hour taped lecture by Professor Bart D. Ehrman, with discussion, plus free-wheeling, frequently humorous conversation about our lives as we gather week by week. Please feel free to come and try it out. Questions? Contact Bruce Lederhouse at 508-240-2853.
