Or looking for a way to get involved in a Habitat build? In 2013 Habitat for Humanity will be building five houses on nearby Namskaket Road in Orleans. One of the five will be what’s called an “Apostle’s Build,” a collaborative effort funded by a consortium of churches. The Angelica Center 2013 Speaker Series at the Church of the Holy Spirit: A very exciting series of speakers at CHS kicks off this month when Barbara Brown Taylor, NYT best-selling author of Leaving Church, joins us here on April 13. Two more talks, also by eminent writers on the spiritual life in its many forms, will be offered over the course of the spring and summer. All talks are on Saturdays at 2 pm in the Parish Hall. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20 per event; $50 for the series of three. Call 508-255-2656 or email st.dewing@verizon.net to reserve tickets.
