Thursday, July 25: Thursdays at Three, at 6:30 p.m. in the Library. Now through August 29 “Living the Questions”, Part 2, of a 25 minute per segment film series featuring theologians and scholars arguing for a progressive, open, inclusive Christianity, will be presented in the LIBRARY. Monday, August 5: Peter Kyle Dance, Cape Cod Premiere of New York City Dancer and Choreographer. Parish Census: Please complete and return the Parish Census ASAP! Mail to the church or put in the box in the Reception Room. If you did not receive one in the mail, please contact the parish office.
Free Shop: Every summer (July & August) we ask members of the church to volunteer to work one Monday (noon to 3) and/or one Wednesday (10 to 1). Two volunteers are needed for each day. The sign up poster is in the CHS Gallery/Reception Room. We are now gladly accept- ing clean Summer clothing. If the Free Shop is closed, donations can be left in the container outside the Free Shop door in the lower level of the Parish Hall. Thank you.
Galley West: Summer hours: Sundays from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Your valued support makes it possible for the shop to maintain this extended schedule and to enable the Galley to meet its pledge. Summer Choir: Part of our tradition at Church of the Holy Spirit is to provide a Summer Choir for the 10 a.m. Service each week (June 9 – Sept. 1). Singers, all voice ranges, are invited to come any Sunday for a rehearsal in the Church at 9 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. service. Since this is the only weekly rehearsal during the Summer, we ask those who wish to participate on Sundays to be present for this important rehearsal. Vestments are not worn. Please come and join the choir any Sunday and bring your relatives and friends. All are welcome. Darlene Hagon
