Easter Flower Envelopes – Look for them in your pew this weekend (April 5 and 6) and offer flowers in memory of (or in thanksgiving for) loved ones. Please print clearly on the envelopes your name and those for whom the flowers are given. Include your donation and place your envelope in the Offertory plate. Deadline – Monday, April 7.

Sunday, April 6: Book Discussion Group – In anticipation of Amy-Jill Levine’s visit, The Book Group is reading one of her books, The Misunderstood Jew. Anyone interested in obtaining a copy may contact Tom Dewing. There is also a DVD of Amy- Jill Levine lectures on the Old Testament in the church library. After the 10 a.m. service in the Fireplace Room.
Time to Fill the Eggs – Empty plastic eggs can be picked up by the fireplace in the CHS Gallery/Reception Room. Eggs can be filled with WRAPPED candies (please, NO peanuts or peanut butter), small trinkets and returned to the same place. Thank you for making this annual & traditional Easter Egg Hunt so wonderful for our CHS children & visitors!
Fridays in Lent: Stations of the Cross – Stations of the Cross will be offered at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Soup and Bread Supper at 6 p.m., in the Parish Hall followed by Jesus at the Movies at 7 p.m. Please come to any or all of these offerings. Sign up sheets are posted in the Reception Room.

Friday, April 11: Walking the Labyrinth –10 a.m. Parish Hall – Margaret Rappaport will facilitate a walk on our canvas, indoor, Chartres-style Labyrinth in the Parish Hall. Please join our labyrinth community in this meditation space once a month. It provides a setting for reflection and prayer. The Labyrinth is available 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Friday, April 11: Taize ́ service – Taize ́ is an inter-denominational service which incorporates readings from scripture, silence, sung and spoken prayer and singing simple, repetitive and melodic songs. Special musicians will include cellist, guitarist, flutist, and pianist. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to participate in this special service as we enter into Holy Week. 7 p.m. in the Church.
Tuesday, April 15: Passover Seder – Once again the Am HaYam Havurah Jewish congregation on the lower/outer Cape will celebrate their Passover Seder at Holy Spirit on Tuesday of Holy Week, April 15. Contemplative/Centering Prayer: Silent, meditative prayer will be held every Tuesday at 12 noon and on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in St. Dunstan’s Chapel, located in the lower level of the church. Going to the Son – High School Class Retreat – July 8- July 15. You will be seeing a lot of fundraising activities by the High School Sunday School Class in the coming weeks. Our first event will be a bake sale on Sunday April 13 during coffee hour. Along with the bake sale, we will be selling car wash tickets to YE Old Carwash in Orleans for $10. This includes an under carriage wash as well. Get rid of that winter grime!
