Friday, April 18: The 28th Annual United People for Kids Good Friday Walk. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on the grounds of the Bible Alliance Church on Route 6A in Brewster. Saturday, April 19: A Holy Saturday Liturgy will be offered in St. Dunstan’s Chapel at 8:40 a.m. in the lower level of the church. This brief liturgy will be held prior to those involved with Altar Guild.

Going to the Son: High School Class Retreat July 8 to July 15. You will be seeing a lot of fundraising activities by the High School Sunday School Class in the coming weeks. Our first event will be a bake sale on Sunday April 13 during coffee hour. Along with the bake sale, we will be selling car wash tickets to Ye Old Carwash in Orleans for $10. This includes an under carriage wash as well. Get rid of that winter grime!
Check it out: In the Parish Hall, after the Palm Sunday Service, come see the wonderful murals that our church school children made to replace the Good Friday Walk murals that were lost in the Bible Alliance fire!
Time To Fill The Eggs: Empty plastic eggs can be picked up by the fireplace in the CHS Gallery/Reception Room. Eggs can be filled with WRAPPED candies (please, NO peanuts or peanut butter), or small trinkets and returned to the same place. Thank you for making this annual & traditional Easter Egg Hunt so wonderful for our CHS children & visitors!
CHS Artist: The featured artist for the month of April is Pia Mackenzie. Much of Pia’s inspiration has come from the Psalms – especially Psalm 148. 50% of the proceeds of this show will be given to CHS. Don’t miss Pia’s show – always creative, inventive & inspirational! Contemplative/Centering Prayer: Silent, meditative prayer will be held every Tuesday at 12 noon and on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. in St. Dunstan’s Chapel, located in the lower level of the church. Free Shop: Hours – Monday, 12 Noon to 3 p.m. and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Free Shop is now accepting SPRING clothing – please no more WINTER! Donations can be dropped off any time the Parish Hall is open. If the shop is closed – there is a container outside the Free Shop door for your donations to this vital CHS Ministry. Welcoming Committee: The next Sundays are some of the most important days of our holy year. We will have new friends joining us for these services. Please make these people feel welcome by helping them find a place in your pew and sharing a prayer book or a hymnal. You might also extend an invitation to them to join us for Coffee Hour.
ATTENTION YOUTH! Your help is needed! The church is looking for volunteers to serve as acolytes for the 10 a.m. service. If you are in grades 3-12 and would like to serve, please let Mother Sarah know ASAP to get on the schedule. Training will take place as needed directly after the 10 a.m. service.
