Saturday, February 21: SHARING THE BLESSING 10 am in the Parish Hall.  Sharing the Blessing is a group that works to educate and gain understanding on issues that involve the LGBT population.  Erica Kay Webster will speak about her life as a transgender 15 year old living on the streets of New York City.  She has launched a drive to open Promise Place, a school on Cape Cod for homeless youth.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AND BRING A FRIEND!

Sunday, February 22: Book Discussion Group – after the 10 a.m. service in the Fireplace Room. We are discussing Rowan Williams’ book, Being Christian, Baptism, Bible, Eucharist, Prayer. Come join us as we delve into this slim pamphlet which presents a summation of his thinking about being a Christian by the recent Archbishop of Canterbury.

Wednesday, February 25: Green Team – Energy Enthusiasts, SAVE THE DATE! WEDNESDAY, February 25, 5 p.m. at the Orleans Town Hall, Skaket Room, 1st Floor. Sippican Community Solar Garden Cooperative is being presented at the Orleans Renewal Energy/Wind Committee meeting.  Green Faith Pledges to consider this week: 1. I will turn off the water while I brush my teeth or shave; 2. I will take shorter showers – less than 20 minutes; 3. I will install WATER SENSE rated faucet flow aerators on all of my faucets, low-flow shower heads in my shower(s), and a toilet tank bank in my toilet(s). Sunday, March 1: Youth Brunch – Come one come all! After the 10 a.m. service. Our Youth Group will be hosting a fabulous brunch. Please come and enjoy a delicious meal and remember, subsequent Youth Group Brunches are usually held on the first Sunday of each month.

Fridays during Lent: Lenten Conversations – Race, Politics and Religion in the USA – We need volunteers to make soup or bread for our Friday Lenten program this year. A sign-up poster for making soup or bread is in the Reception room. This year we encourage preregistration for all since we anticipate participants from other churches. You can register with the receptionists during the week or with Fr. Ken at: There is a flyer on the Reception desk outlining the Lenten program.

Calling All CHS Crafters and Hobbyists: would you like to show your craft or hobby in the CHS Gallery/Reception Room, during the month of April? To sign up, please call Jan Roberts @ 508-255-6281.

CHS Artist: The featured CHS artist for the month of February is Sean Chung. Don’t miss Sean’s extraordinary photographs in the CHS Gallery/Reception Room – be amazed at what a talented young man sees. Children Activity Bags: Are available for loan to keep our children “busy” during the Service.Please feel free to take advantage of them.

COFFEE HOUR HOSTS: Just a reminder; you can sign up for hosting coffee hour in the Parish Hall. We need new participants in the New Year! Beverages are provided. You just need to bring something to go with them! Thank you, Michele Puzo

Free Shop: Thank you for your continued support & donations to the Free Shop. The shop is now accepting WINTER Clothing. All donations can be dropped off any day the Parish Hall is open.
