SUMMER CHURCH SCHOOL: Veggie Tales Theatre: 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Ages 4 and above. Parish Hall Downstairs across from Nursery. Children will join families for the Eucharist following Veggie Tales Theatre. Nursery Care for 3 and under is available every Sunday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. across the Hall from Veggie Tales Theatre!
Sunday, August 2: Please attend the YOUTH BRUNCH in the Parish Hall TODAY, just after the Sunday 10 a.m. service! Every first Sunday of the month the Youth Group hosts a brunch. Come August 2 and join the fun!
Friday, August 7: GARDEN PARTY – Please plan to join us for the August Garden Party, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We’ll be doing mid-summer maintenance. All are invited, no experience necessary! Friday, August 14: Walking the Labyrinth at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall. The Labyrinth is a spiritual walking exercise that quiets the mind, opens the heart and centers the body to en-courage meditation. Margaret Rappaport facilitates a walk on our indoor canvas Chartres-style Labyrinth. The 10 a.m. walk is candle-lit and is accompanied by music courtesy of Darlene Hagon. The labyrinth is available for individual walks from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
NEW FAIR TRADE ITEMS – Organic Natural Almonds and Cashews are now available in our FAIR TRADE display in the Parish Hall. We also have a new order of Orange Marmalade, a great favorite! Good for the environment, good for small farmers and good for you!

CHS ARTIST: The featured CHS artist for the month of August is Cheryl Kyle. Cheryl’s show includes Tinga Tinga paintings from Tanzania, her own paintings and Maasai beaded jewelry and ornaments. All proceeds from the sales are donated to Endupoto Primary School, a Maasai school with over 300 students in Tanzania, East Africa. SUMMER CHOIR: Our tradition at CHS is to provide a Summer Choir for the 10 a.m. service each week (June 28 – Sept. 6). Singers – all voice ranges – are invited to come any Sunday for a rehearsal in the Church at 9 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. service. Since this is the only weekly rehearsal available during the Summer, we ask those who wish to participate on Sundays to be present for this important rehearsal at 9 a.m. Vestments are not worn. Please come and join the choir any Sunday and bring your relatives and friends. All are welcome. Darlene Hagon
