IT’S A NEW YEAR FOR SPACE USAGE FORMS! PLEASE CONTACT THE OFFICE with respect to signing up your group’s schedule for the 2015-2016 program year as soon as possible. Most groups are off for the summer, but will start up again in the Fall for the Sept 2015 to June 2016 year. The earlier you get in your space usage request, the better the chance you will get the specifics you want.

All proceeds from the sales are donated to Endupoto Primary School, a Maasai school with over 300 students in Tanzania, East Africa. Cheryl’s show has become a summer tradition in the gallery – always colorful , always creative, always different! Questions? Con-tact Sharyn Laughton – artoff@comcast.net – 508 255 7277.

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY BAGS: Are available at every entrance for loan to keep our children “busy” during the service. Please feel free to take advantage of them.

COFFEE HOUR HOSTS: Just a reminder; you can sign up for hosting coffee hour in the Parish Hall. We need new participants! Beverages are provided. You just need to bring something to go with them! Thank you, Michele Puzo.

GALLEY WEST GIFT SHOP:  Thanks for all who volunteered to work  in the Galley during the summer.  We were delighted to welcome some new staff members and send out thanks and appreciation to all volunteers for your support enabling the shop to maintain an extended schedule.  That’s a good thing!  During September and October the shop will be open on Mondays from 10  AM to 12 Noon and on Sundays from 11AM-12 noon.

NEW FAIR TRADE ITEMS – Organic Natural Almonds and Cashews are now available in our FAIR TRADE display in the Parish Hall. We also have a new order of Orange Marmalade, a great favorite! Good for the environment, good for small farmers and good for you!

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY: Prayer shawls are knitted by parishioners, blessed, and given to help our friends who are ill, recovering, bereaved or distressed. Should you know of such a need, please phone the church office or Helen Richardson at 508-255-0065.

SUMMER CHOIR: Our tradition at CHS is to provide a Summer Choir for the 10 a.m. service each week (June 28 – Sept. 6). Singers – all voice ranges – are invited to come any Sunday for a rehearsal in the Church at 9 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. service. Since this is the only weekly rehearsal available during the Summer, we ask those who wish to participate on Sundays to be present for this important rehearsal at 9 a.m. Vestments are not worn. Please come and join the choir any Sunday and bring your relatives and friends. All are welcome. Darlene Hagon
