Stewardship: The 2016 Pledge Packets were mailed in early October. If you did not receive one, please contact the parish office. Through November 16 we have received 125 pledges for a total of $261,088. Pledges will be blessed at In-Gathering services the end of November. Requested 2016 Offering Envelope boxes will be distributed during the middle of December.

Sunday, November 22: The Cape Community Orchestra conducted by John P. Hagon will present a fall concert at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of the Cape Parish Center, Stony Brook Rd., Brewster. Admission to the concert is free of charge.
Sunday, November 22: A special Nauset Interfaith Association celebration of Thanksgiving with Jewish, Christian, Muslim and native American participation at Eastham United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 22 at 4 PM. The offering will benefit Syrian refugees and homeless youth on the Lower/Outer Cape.
Thursday, November 26, Thanksgiving Dinner: How would you like to have Thanksgiving dinner in pleasant company without having to shop, wash a single dish, or sit at the kids’ table? Friday, November 27 & Saturday, November 28: The 36th Annual Holiday Antiques Show and Sale – Friday, November 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, November 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Sunday, November 29: The Giving Tree – This year CHS will once again participate in the Giving Tree. The Giving Tree provides Christmas presents to greater community families as well as people in nursing home facilities who would otherwise go without.
At the 10 a.m. service on November 29 members of the Youth Group along with children from the Sunday School will have a presentation about the Giving Tree to start us off on this joyous holiday tradition. Please take an ornament and return to the tree with the ornament firmly attached to the gift, on or before Sunday, December 13.
Sunday, November 29: Advent Wreath Making for the whole parish after the 10 a.m. service, in the Parish Hall. If possible please bring “greens” to use and share. All other materials will be provided. Advent candle sets will be available for sale if you already have your Advent wreath. Don’t miss this traditional event sponsored by the Church School!
CHS ARTIST: The Featured artists in the CHS gallery for the month of November is the dynamic and talented duo – JANET WINTER & NANCY RANSCHT. Janet Winter has been doing artwork all her life; happily progressing from Crayolas to oil, watercolors, ink, and colored pencils. FAIR TRADE UPDATE: We have a new product for sale in our Parish Hall Fair Trade display: organic hand soap made by a Palestinian women’s cooperative. This product is being distributed by the Episcopal Peace Fellowship.
FIRST FRUITS HOLIDAY SALE: Will be Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 in the Parish Hall. This year includes holiday arrangements, gift baskets and cookies. Proceeds will be donated to a local charity.

HELP WANTED: WEEKEND SEXTON. As you may have heard, Bob Marks, weekend sexton, has left to take care of family matters in PA. He will be sorely missed – a hard act to follow. Don Bragdon has agreed to cover Sunday duties for us until we find a permanent replacement for Bob. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP.
