Easter Flower Envelopes are in the pews this weekend, March 5 and 6 and next weekend, March 12 and 13 so that you can offer flowers in memory of (or in thanksgiving for) loved ones. Please print clearly on the envelopes your name and those for whom the flowers are given. Include your donation and place your envelope in the Offertory plate. Deadline – Monday, March 14

Sunday, March 6: YOUTH BRUNCH – Please attend the Youth Brunch in the Parish Hall just after the Sunday 10 a.m. service. Every first Sunday of the month the Youth Group hosts a brunch. Come March 6 and join the fun!

March 11 – March 18: FRIDAY LENTEN SERVICE AND SUPPER (Every Friday at 5:30 p.m.) Come join our Friday Lenten Service and Supper which incorporates a devotional in the church followed by soup & bread and a presentation in the Parish Hall.
Friday, March 11: Labyrinth walk in the Parish Hall at 10 a.m. The theme, “True Connectedness,” will focus on the ability to “notice what we are noticing” so we may improve life, make more conscious choices and decisions, and help us to control negative responses to experiences. Dr. Margaret Rappaport, Veriditas certified labyrinth facilitator, will guide the walk. Meditative instrumental music by classical composers: Brahms, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Schumann, and Mendelssohn will be offered by Darlene Hagon, Director of Music. The Rev. Anne Koehler will provide a brief theological reflection on the “true connectedness” Jesus practiced.
Friday, March 11: At 5:30 p.m. a Labyrinth walk within the celebration of an intimate, meditative Eucharist, also in the Parish Hall. Dr. Margaret Rappaport will give a brief introduction to the uniqueness of the labyrinth in Lent, The Rev. Anne Koehler will lead our worship, and Lenten choral music will be offered by Darlene Hagon, Director of Music. A soup and bread supper will follow. TIME TO FILL THE EGGS: Empty plastic eggs can be picked up by the fireplace in the CHS Gallery/Reception Room. Eggs can be filled with WRAPPED candies (please, NO peanuts or peanut butter), small trinkets and returned to the same place. Thank you for making this annual and traditional Easter Egg Hunt so wonderful for our CHS children & visitors!
Wednesday, March 16: MEN’S LUNCH – We will meet the third Wednesday of the month at 12 noon in the Fireplace Room. Bring your own bag lunch. Coffee and snacks are provided by our donations. GOOD FRIDAY, March 25: At 3 p.m. a special guided Labyrinth Walk that brings together the meditative power of the labyrinth and the Stations of the Cross will be offered.
