Daily BreadPLEASE NOTE: Our Saturday service has moved to 5:00 p.m. until November 1.

Easter Flower Envelopes are in the pews this weekend, March 12 and 13 so that you can offer flowers in memory of (or in thanksgiving for) loved ones. Please print clearly on the envelopes your name and those for whom the flowers are given. Include your donation and place your envelope in the Offertory plate. Deadline – Monday, March 14.

Sunday, March 13: BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP – This Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the Fireplace Room, Chapter 5 (“Jesus and John”) of Christ Actually. We will NOT be meeting on Palm Sun-day and Easter Sunday. We will resume on Sunday, April 3. Brooke and Brian Skea.

Wednesday, March 16: MEN’S LUNCH – We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 12 noon in the Fireplace Room. Bring your own bag lunch. Coffee and snacks are provided by our donations. Friday, March 18: LENTEN SERVICE AND SUPPER: Come join our Friday Lenten Service and Supper which incorporates a devotional in the church followed by soup & bread and a presentation in the Parish Hall.

Sunday, March 20: SHEPHERD GROUPS: Dennis/Brewster Group: Will meet at 5 p.m. at Cynthia and Tom Murray’s, 173 Crocker Lane in Brewster. Call the Murrays at 508-896-5634 for directions and call Elizabeth Merritt at 508-240-6998 with any questions. Eastham-Wellfleet Group: Will meet at 5 p.m. at the home of Kate Paradise, 10 Richard Lane, Eastham. Bring something yummy to share and be ready to have a good time! Orleans Group: Will meet at 5:30 pm at Judy and Bill Gardiner’s. Please call Judy at 508-255-2326.

Wednesday, March 23: Children’s Walking the Way of the Cross and Supper at 5:30 p.m.  PLEASE SIGN UP NOW – a SIGN UP SHEET is posted on the Church School bulletin board for your choice of food and number of family attending.

Good Friday, March 25: At 3 p.m. a special guided Labyrinth Walk that brings together the meditative power of the labyrinth and the Stations of the Cross will be offered.

Thursday, March 24: Maundy Thursday: 7 p.m. Holy Eucharist with Mandatum (ritual of the Washing of Feet)
Friday, March 25: Good Friday: 3 p.m. Labyrinth Walk and 7 p.m. Good Friday Liturgy
Saturday, March 26: Holy Saturday: 7 p.m.- The Vigil and First Eucharist of Easter
Sunday, March 27: Easter Sunday: 8 a.m. & 10 a.m. Holy Eucharist with Easter Egg Hunt after 10 a.m. service

TIME TO FILL THE EGGS  Empty plastic eggs can be picked up by the fireplace in the CHS Gallery/Reception Room. Eggs can be filled with WRAPPED candies (please, NO peanuts or peanut butter) or small trinkets and returned to the same place. Thank you for making this annual and traditional Easter Egg Hunt so wonderful for our CHS children & visitors!

CHS ARTIST: Our church then and now. The display for the month of March consists of pictures painted by members of the parish and visitors over the years showing changes to the original building throughout the past 83 years. Come and enjoy! Sharyn Laughton – ar-toff@comcast.net – 508-255-7277.

April Craft Month: What is your favorite craft? What do you like to make? Do you: stitch, carve, paint, paste, refinish, weave, design, enhance, repair, glue, pleat…? Please plan to ex-hibit your creations in the Reception Room for the month of April. Call Jan Roberts at 508- 255-6281.

EVENTS IN THE PARISH HALL: Please be kind to the floors. When you move tables or chairs in the Parish Hall please LIFT them to move them as opposed to DRAGGING them across the floor. This way we can prevent streaks on the wood. Thank you!

FREE SHOP: The Free Shop is gladly accepting spring clothing. Open on Mondays: 12 Noon to 3 p.m. and Wednesdays: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Your donations can be dropped off any time the Parish Hall is open. GALLEY WEST GIFT SHOP: The shop will be open on Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Please stop by and buy! Barbara Hoffman

NOAH:  Our NOAH Commitment needs serving teams. One Friday night a month – 2 or 4 people to transport food and serve it at the NOAH Shelter in Hyannis. Call Georgia Schneider at 508-255-2368 or Pattie LaBranche at 508-255-3532.

COFFEE HOUR HOSTS: HELP NEEDED – Please signup on the posted sheet in the Parish Hall. The beverages are provided. You just need to bring something of your choice to go with them! Be creative and lend a hand to this fun cause! Please call Michele Puzo at 508-432-1981.

DRIVERS NEEDED: Volunteers to drive parishioners to church services, activities and medical appointments are sorely needed. If you can help please call Pattie LaBranche at 508-255-3532 or Peter Blank at 508-760-1516.

WELCOMING VISITORS: If you are sitting near visitors at the services please extend them a greeting and, if you attend the 10 a.m. service, invite them over to the parish hall for coffee hour and a visit to the newcomer table.
