Sunday, April 3: YOUTH BRUNCH – Please attend the Youth Brunch in the Parish Hall just after the Sunday 10 a.m. service. Every first Sunday of the month the Youth Group hosts a brunch. Come April 3rd and join the fun!
Thursday, April 7: WOMEN’S LUNCHEON – The women of the parish will gather for their monthly luncheon at 12 noon in Parish Hall on Thursday April 7. Volunteers for the day are: Barbara Barrett, Anne Crocker, Marge Farrell and Georgia Schneider. All women are welcome to come and enjoy the camaraderie, conversation and good food. Thursday, April 7: JAMES HOWE IS BACK FOR A RETURN ENGAGEMENT at 5:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear this nationally renowned children’s author. Jim’s book “The Misfits” is the inspiration for No Name-Calling week, an anti-bullying initiative, that has been held at schools throughout the country. Jim will be ending his day of presentations at area middle schools by joining parishioners and their guests at a SPAGHETTI SUPPER here at CHS sponsored by Sharing the Blessing. Saturday, April 9 and April 16: OUR COMMUNION PREPARATION – Classes will be held at 10 a.m. in the church. Presentation of Communion Preparation Class is Sunday, April 17 at the 10 a.m. service. Reception for candidates and their families following the service.
Wednesday, April 20: MEN’S LUNCH – We will meet the third Wednesday of the month at 12 noon in the Fireplace Room. Bring your own bag lunch. Coffee and snacks are provided by our donations. Wednesday, April 27: FLEMING RUTLEDGE – 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall. We are most fortunate to have another occasion to listen to the wit and wisdom of the Rev. Fleming Rutledge. She will be interviewed by Father Adam about ideas presented in her recently published magnum opus, The Crucifixion, Understanding the Death of Jesus Christ. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear a brilliant mind in an intimate setting discussing ideas at the very heart of what we believe. There will be light refreshments.
CHS ARTIST/APRIL CRAFT MONTH: The shows goes on: for the month of April, CHS members will present their varied CRAFTS in the Reception Room. What is your favorite craft? What do you like to make? CHILDREN ACTIVITY BAGS: Are available at every entrance for loan to keep our children “busy” during the service. Please feel free to take advantage of them.

EVENTS IN THE PARISH HALL: Please be kind to the floors. When you move tables or chairs in the Parish Hall please LIFT them to move them as opposed to DRAGGING them across the floor. This way we can prevent streaks on the wood. Thank you!
FREE SHOP: The Free Shop is gladly accepting spring clothing. Open on Mondays: 12 Noon to 3 p.m. and Wednesdays: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Your donations can be dropped off any time the Parish Hall is open.
