Sunday, May 1: YOUTH BRUNCH – Please attend the Youth Brunch in the Parish Hall just after the Sunday 10 a.m. service. Every first Sunday of the month the Youth Group hosts a brunch. Come May 1 and join the fun!
Thursday, May 5: WOMEN’S LUNCHEON – The women of the parish will gather for their monthly luncheon at 12 Noon in Parish Hall. Volunteers for the day are: Pat Carroll, Lori Linton, Maggie Macleay and Joan Proctor. All women are welcome to come and enjoy the camaraderie, conversation and good food. Friday, May 13: WALKING THE LABYRINTH – 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall. The theme: “True Listening”. Dr. Margaret Rappaport, Veriditas certified labyrinth facilitator, will guide the walk. Selected meditative choral music will be offered by Darlene T. Hagon, Director of Music. The Rev. Anne Koehler will offer a brief theological reflection on listening for the voice of God. All are welcome.

SAVE THE DATE – SUNDAY, MAY 22: Angelica Series – Rabbi Michael Lerner will be the keynote speaker at 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Seeking healing for the divisions amongst us, Rabbi Lerner has led a life as a personal witness in non-violent confrontation with injustice. Come to our parish hall to hear what he has to say. The event is jointly sponsored by Am HaYam Cape Cod Havurah, The Church of the Holy Spirit, The Federated Church of Orleans, Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, Harwich, and First Parish Brewster Unitarian Universalist. CHS ARTIST: Food for Kids is the May exhibit in the Gallery/Reception Room. This program is made possible by you volunteering during July & August. EVENTS IN THE PARISH HALL: Please be kind to the floors. When you move tables or chairs in the Parish Hall please LIFT them to move them as opposed to DRAGGING them across the floor. This way we can prevent streaks on the wood. Thank you!
FAIR TRADE UPDATE: We have received a new order of olive oil from the Holy Land (the same oil that is used to make Holy Chrism for baptismal anointing). FREE SHOP: The Free Shop is gladly accepting spring clothing. Open on Mondays: 12 Noon to 3 p.m. and Wednesdays: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Your donations can be dropped off any time the Parish Hall is open.
