We are asking parishioners to bake cookies for the cookie walk (small enough to to fit into a 13 oz. coffee can). All types of homemade donations: baked items (no brownies), soups, candy, etc. Please clearly label your items, especially those that contain nuts or nut products. Sunday, November 20: THANKSGIVING INTERFAITH SERVICE FOR THE HEALING OF OUR NATION – Orleans United Methodist Church at 2 pm – The annual Nauset Interfaith Thanksgiving service this year will take its theme from President Abraham Lincoln’s proclamation making Thanksgiving a national holiday towards healing our na on. Sunday, November 27: CHURCH SCHOOL NEWS – Advent wreath making in the Gathering Room (9:45 to 10:40). Children will process into church for the blessing of their Advent wreaths by Fr. Adam. Bring greens, if able and the church school will supply all other materials. Candles will be available during co ee hour. CHS ARTIST: The featured CHS artist for the month of November is JANET WINTER. Janet’s exhibit is a combination display of “just finished works” in colored pencil and watercolors done in years past. Both new and older work show Janet’s interest in depicting the landscapes around us. Janet’s children’s books & cards can also be seen & purchased at the CHS Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 19.
