Sunday, February 5: YOUTH BRUNCH – Please attend the Youth Brunch in the Parish Hall just after the Sunday 10 am service. This brunch will be serving Eggs Benedict – DELICIOUS! The Youth Group is participating in a Food Drive to help a local Food Pantry. Bring a nonperishable food or canned good item to donate to this wonderful cause and you will receive $1.00 off your brunch! Also, due to the cancelation of our Epiphany Trope service, the Youth Group will be collecting all gifts to the Christ Child. Bring your UNWRAPPED toy and they will be given to children in need in December 2017 at the Lower Cape Outreach Gift Center.
Friday, February 10: LABYRINTH WALK – At 10 am in the Parish Hall. Our guided labyrinth walks on the second Friday of every month at 10 am continues in February with the meditation theme “Consciousness.” Dr. Margaret Rappaport, Veriditas-certified labyrinth facilitator, offers a brief instructive introduction to the walk. Darlene T. Hagon, Director of Music, presents the music of Azam Ali to enhance the theme. Rev. Anne Koehler shares a theological reflection to connect participants to the deeper meaning of the walk experience. ALL ARE WELCOME!

Sunday, February 12: CHURCH SCHOOL FAMILIES & CHS ANNUAL MEETING – There will be a table in the Parish Hall for all children whose families are attending the Annual Meeting. Valentine supplies & quiet games will be provided.
Wednesday, February 15: MEN’S LUNCHEON – At 12 Noon in the Fireplace Room. Our Men’s Lunch will meet as usual on the 3rd Wednesday. Questions? Call Bruce Lederhouse at 508-240 -2853. Rides can be arranged. Bring your own sandwich and cold drink; coffee and snacks are provided by our donations.

Cape Cod Council of Churches: Did you notice the basket of diapers at the front entrance to the Parish Hall? These are destined for A Baby Center which helps low-income mothers of children up to age three. Won’t you help by picking up a pack of diapers or baby wipes when you shop and leave them in the basket?
CHS ARTIST: For the month of February the Prayer Shawl Ministry will be exhibiting their craft of shawls (blessed by clergy) in the Reception Room/Gallery. This ministry and exhibit is coordinated by Helen Richardson. She writes: There is always need for Prayer Shawls given to many in hospitals, nursing homes, to the bereaved and to new mothers. Both women and men are comforted by these gifts. It is best to use acrylic (machine washable) yarns. Directions call for 550 yards. Please let me know if instructions are needed – 508 255 0065. A few months are still open. Sign up to show your work in 2017 for one month. The sign-up sheet is located in the Gallery/Reception Room by the door. FREE SHOP: The Free Shop is gladly and gratefully accepting WINTER clothing. Open on Mondays: 12 Noon to 3 pm and Wednesdays: 10 am to 1 pm. Your donations can be dropped off anytime the Parish Hall is open. If the shop is closed there is a container outside the Free Shop door at the foot of the elevator. Questions? GALLEY WEST GIFT SHOP: We are open on Sundays from 11 am to 12 Noon.
GROCERY CARDS: After church at the coffee hour we sell Grocery Cards which may be used at Stop and Shop, Shaw’s, Friend’s, and Phoenix Fruit. The buyer receives full value of the card and the store donates 5% to the Homeless Prevention Council. The need is great here on the Lower Cape and by purchasing the grocery cards you will be helping those less fortunate.
HEALTH MINISTRIES COMMITTEE: Our new “Health Ministry Survey” was included as a separate insert in the January Together. If you have not already completed it, please take the time to complete the survey and place it in the “Survey Boxes” at each entrance or mail it back to the church to the Attention: Health Ministries. Additional surveys are available in the Parish Office.
