Easter Flower Envelopes are in the pews this weekend, April 1 and 2, so that you can offer flowers in memory of (or in thanksgiving for) loved ones. Please print clearly on the envelopes your name and those for whom the flowers are given. Include your donation and place your envelope in the Offertory plate. Deadline – Monday, April 3.

Fridays, April 7: STATIONS OF THE CROSS at 5:30 pm in the church. This will be followed by soup and bread supper with the last of a four-part presentation and discussion, led by Father Adam, titled, “Reading Scripture with the Mind in the Heart.” Sign up sheet for the Soup (one vegetarian)/ Bread supper is posted in the Reception Room.
Friday, April 7: GARDEN PARTY – If the weather cooperates, we’ll be able to spiff the place up before Easter Week. If not, please put the 21st on your calendar as an alternate date. My plan is to clean out the perennials, trim the ornamental grasses and rake out some of the beds. We might even get some pansies in the pots at the main entrances to the sanctuary and Parish Hall. TIME TO FILL THE EGGS – Empty plastic eggs can be picked up by the replace in the CHS Gallery/Reception Room. Eggs can be filled with WRAPPED candies (please, NO peanuts or peanut butter) and small trinkets and returned to the same place. Thank you for making this annual & traditional Easter Egg Hunt so wonderful for our CHS children & visitors!
Good Friday, April 14: 32nd Annual United People for Kids Good Friday Walk – This walk benefits children with special needs and their families on Cape Cod and the Islands. Good Friday, April 14: Good Friday Labyrinth Walk With Stations of the Cross in the Parish Hall at 3 pm. Our annual Good Friday walk features labyrinth banners displaying the Stations of the Cross with commentary by Rev. Anne Koehler and Dr. Margaret Rappaport, accompanied by sacred music selected by Darlene T. Hagon, Director of Music. Notably, the labyrinth walk will offer comfort crosses for participants to hold and a vessel of ashes for meditative focus. Join us for this meaningful Lenten walk. It is not necessary to walk the labyrinth. There is always the option to sit quietly in prayer and to meditate or to use a finger labyrinth if desired.

FOOD 4 KIDS will be hiring a Staff Assistant for summer 2017 to assist the Operation and Kitchen Managers and work with volunteers. This will be a 40-hour/week position.
