Friday, July 14: Labyrinth Walk – 10 am in the Parish Hall. Our monthly guided walks on the second Friday of each month continue with the theme, “Seeking”. We gather in the center of the labyrinth for opening reflections of The Rev. Anne Koehler. Dr. Margaret Rappaport, Veriditas-certified Labyrinth Facilitator, will offer a short commentary focusing on what it means to “go deeper” into prayer and meditation during a labyrinth walk. Director of Music, Darlene T. Hagon will offer meditative music played by guest harpist, Annelise Ellars during the walk to enhance awareness of the theme. Notably, in this walk we will celebrate Darlene’s completion of training as a Veriditas-certified Labyrinth Facilitator with Rev. Lauren Artress, founder of the Veriditas movement. Closing prayer and comments will bring the walk to a close. Please join us whether you choose to walk the labyrinth or to quietly sit, meditate and pray. All are welcome.
