THIS COMING Wednesday, November 14: MEMORIAL LABYRINTH WALK – 5 pm in the Parish Hall. Many of us have lost those we love and have experienced other losses in our lives. This year we will meet in the Parish Hall at 5 pm for prayers and an opportunity to name those we pray for. For those who are able, we will walk the labyrinth in their memory. There will be companions to walk with those who might need some assistance. All are invited to come and walk or to just be there in prayer. Gail Smith+

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY – KNITTERS NEEDED – Our pastoral visitors take the shawls to homes, nursing homes and hospitals after they have been blessed at one of our Eucharistic services. We also knit baby blankets for newborns. There is no right or wrong way to create these shawls of love and care but we do request that they be approximately 24” by 60” in size (though baby blankets are much smaller!) If you can help, please call Sandy Marshall at 508-255-9971 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
IF YOU UNLOCK IT – YOU MUST LOCK IT! It has come to our attention that very often doors around the campus have been left unlocked during times when we are closed. LOCK ALL DOORS WHEN YOU LEAVE ANY AREA THAT YOU ARE USING AFTER HOURS!
INTERFAITH THANKSGIVING: SOARING EAGLE – The popular annual Nauset Interfaith Thanksgiving Service this year will feature a talk by the Medicine Man of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, Soaring Eagle, otherwise known as Earl Cash Jr. The theme will be giving thanks and caring for God’s gift of Mother Earth. Hope to see you at Eastham United Methodist Church at 2 pm on Sunday, November 18. Come early, we expect a capacity crowd!
CONSTANT CONTACT: Here at the Church of the Holy Spirit we occasionally send out a Constant Contact email blast. What is a Constant Contact email blast? Simply put, it is an email that goes out to hundreds of parishioners at the exact same time. To keep everyone informed, we need to always have your current email address on file. So, if you change your email address, please let the office know! Our contact info: email@example.com or 508-255-0433.
