HEALTH MINISTRIES COMMITTEE: The Health topic for December is Colon Cancer. Did you know that Colon Cancer is the 3rd most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the U.S.? Do you know how to get tested? Do you know the risk factors and what you may be able to do to lower your risk? Find the answers at the health table after services on Sundays or on the desk in the Reception area. Ann Pike-Paris, Chair
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY – KNITTERS NEEDED – Our pastoral visitors take the shawls to homes, nursing homes and hospitals after they have been blessed at one of our Eucharistic services. We also knit baby blankets for newborns. There is no right or wrong way to create these shawls of love and care but we do request that they be approximately 24” by 60” in size (though baby blankets are much smaller!) If you can help, please call Sandy Marshall at 508-255-9971 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
CONSTANT CONTACT: Here at the Church of the Holy Spirit we occasionally send out a Constant Contact email blast. What is a Constant Contact email blast? Simply put, it is an email that goes out to hundreds of parishioners at the exact same time. To keep everyone informed, we need to always have your current email address on file. So, if you change your email address, please let the office know! Our contact info: email@example.com or 508-255-0433.
