RUMMAGE SALE time is here! Friday, May 3 (4 pm to 7 pm) and Saturday, May 4 (9 am to 12 noon). Can’t wait until 4:00 on Friday to shop? Early admission at 3:30 pm for a $20 donation (all other times, admission is free). DONATION DROP OFF at the Parish Hall begins Wednesday, May 1 at 10 am. Full schedule is posted in the Together and on pink flyers in the Reception Room and Parish Hall. We need CLEAN adult and children’s clothing and shoes in wearable condition. Also, gently used books (no mildew please!) as well as “white elephant” items such as dishes, baking items, small furniture, small appliances in working order and children’s toys. New this year – live outdoor plants are also welcome. We CANNOT ACCEPT – TV’s, computer equipment, luggage, LP records, food, golf or ski equipment. Many helping hands will be necessary to make this year’s sale a success! You don’t have to sign up, just please come volunteer your time and help. Questions? SAVE THE DATE: On Friday, May 17, Youth Outreach and Hospitality (YOH) an action team of the Nauset Interfaith Association, will sponsor a BENEFIT CONCERT at 7 pm in the CHS Parish Hall. ALTAR FLOWERS: Please consider a donation for altar flowers! Just fill out an Altar Flowers request card, available at all the church entrances. You may choose to do this to remember someone or perhaps to celebrate a special anniversary or birthday. For a donation of fifty dollars the Flower Guild will purchase and arrange flowers and the name(s) of the loved ones being honored will be noted in the service bulletins of the weekend services of the chosen date.
CHS FEATURED ARTIST: Pia Cristina Mackenzie is the Artist for April. Using collage images and the central themes: psalms, hymns of praise, and a sense of wonder at God’s love and his creation, Pia has created quite a unique show. Please stop in the Reception/Galley Room and enjoy her creativity!
