Sunday, June 9: ADULT EDUCATION – in the Fireplace Room, 9 am. We begin with Genesis. It’s an engaging, demanding, puzzling, and sometimes disturbing text. But it’s also a very rich one, with so much to reflect on, that invites us into the heart of things in many, many ways. This is a lively, interactive Bible study, led by Adam+. No homework required! Just come, in spirit, mind, and heart.
Homeless Prevention Council: Let’s go for a walk and support the Homeless Prevention Council! Getting more involved in our community was one of the overwhelming responses the Vestry received during ReImagining. CHS has been a long time supporter of the Homeless Prevention Council, and we know that this is a real need in our community.
Saturday, June 8, at Provincetown Town Hall, starts a 3.2 mile walk along historic Commercial Street to raise funds for homeless prevention. Register online individually at www.HPCcapecod.org, or pick up a registration form on the desk in the Reception Room, or register the morning of the event at 9 am (walk begins at 10 am). Sunday, June 9: Happy Birthday CHS! Pentecost Sunday Is the 86th birthday of The Church of the Holy Spirit, Youth Recognition Sunday and our annual “Parish Cook-In”. So wear your RED and come celebrate with us! Following the Eucharist and Church School Recognition Celebration at the 10 am service, please come to the Parish Hall for the “Cook In”. Please bring a side dish (salad, veggie or fruit platter, baked beans, coleslaw etc.) to go with hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers. Dessert and drinks provided!

Veggie Tale Summer Theatre: June 16 thru September 1 in the Creation Room at 9:45 am. Snacks included. All ages welcome. Children will join families in church around 10:40 am. Nursery Care available 9:30-11:30 am every Summer Sunday in Nursery under the Parish Hall across from Creation Room.

Providing joyful mini-vacations at the Cape for refugees is only one part of this; more important is sharing and learning with persons whose stories are remarkable.
