The Free Food For Kids program at the Church of the Holy Spirit is in full swing for the summer. Every weekday, healthy, sandwich-based meals are prepared in the CHS kitchen from 5:00 am to 8:00 am. The staff then puts the lunches, snacks, and breakfasts together as brown bag meals downstairs in the large classroom. The meals are delivered in coolers and served at four meal sites: two in Chatham, one in Truro, and one in Eastham.
Free Food For Kids welcomes all who would like to help in this program throughout the summer. If you are interested please call Ruth W. Free Food for Kids will continue for eight weeks this summer. The Church of the Holy Spirit is a sponsor of the Federal Child Nutrition Program.
